Where It All Began…
This is a small business, like very small business, consisting of one person. It’s me. Hi. I’m Jenn, mom of three great kiddos, 19, 16 and 3. Yes, we did that. 😊
With the goal of making a candle that didn’t make my throat hurt, my head ache or my lungs feel weird and itchy, I began creating my own candles in 2012. I also wanted to rid our home of as many unhealthy chemicals for my children, who were on many lifelong medications {So the doctors said, but how I helped rid them of four, plus meds each, in two weeks is a story for another time. Hint: It is one reason you can also shop for non-gmo health items here. See tab above.} I succeeded and began to gift these to my family and was soon prompted to sell. With the above, mentioned older children being extremely active and me working full time, I was unable to pursue my newly discovered dream. It was on and off for several years.
Fast forward to 2021 with all that is happening, staying home with the little one was a better option for our family than going back to the ‘in house’ corporate world. Squeezing in a little time here and there, I was finally able to release a few items at the end of the year.
I lovingly pour tons of JOY into my work, which doesn’t feel like work because I love it so much. Wonderfully scented, phthalate free fragrances are poured into a beautiful blend of paraffin free soy and coconut blended wax, which fuels the eco cotton wicks. The result is a highly fragrant, long-lasting candle that doesn’t make me ill when burning.
